In the quiet village of Kagzipura, near Daulatabad in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) district of Maharashtra, handmade paper has been made for centuries. Cotton rags and natural fibres are collected, soaked, beaten into pulp, shaped by hand and left to dry. Each sheet carries the time, care and skill of the hands that make it. Kagzipura paper is more than a material—it is a living craft tradition, connecting us to the artisans and their generations-old knowledge.
