Pure Organic Turmeric Powder (haridra)

This turmeric powder comes from a farm in Maharashtra, where it is cultivated using traditional natural farming practices supported by indigenous Indian cows (Gir and Khillar).

The farmer grows the turmeric without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Instead, the soil is nourished with Gokripamrutam compost  (prepared from cow dung and naturally processed with beneficial microorganisms), along with cow urine and buttermilk, following time-tested, nature-based farming methods.

Carefully harvested and processed, the turmeric retains its natural colour, aroma, and purity, making it an excellent choice for everyday cooking as well as traditional rituals.

Generous external use of turmeric helps in drastically reducing oxidative stress and increased pitta occurring in women due to menstruation, stressful lifestyle or soon after childbirth and post sexual intercourse. Women are advised to use it liberally in their daily bath, esp. on the sides of the face and on the heels of the feet. It can also be mixed-in-water and sprinkled on the hair instead of washing the hair. Its an absolute essential for the fourth day sanctifying bath post menses.
