We have for you a deep red Devi's Kunkuma from the Jñānākshi Rajarajeshwari Devi's temple in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This Kunkuma is prepared using turmeric and other natural ingredients as discussed in the Stri Dharma sessions.

It can be used for Tilak and it may also be applied at the middle parting of the hair, as Sindur. When applied with gentle pressure on the respective marmas, it maintains ionic balance of the cerebrospinal fluid, and stabilizes the blood pressure in the brain. It also neutralises unpleasant thought vibrations arising from drishti.

    Pure, authentic and beautifully made

The kumkuma has a lovely fine texture and feels very natural when applied. The colour is rich yet subtle, and it has that authentic, traditional feel that is difficult to find in commercially processed kumkuma. I especially liked the smooth texture and the feeling of using something thoughtfully made from natural ingredients. The packaging was simple and neat, and the product arrived safely. A beautiful addition to everyday puja and traditional rituals.
